Why US government has removed India from its currency monitoring list?

As the New Delhi had addressed some of the major concerns raised by Donald Trump administration’s, US S government removing India from its currency monitoring list. Last year on may 2018 US had placed India in its currency monitoring list of countries. This list of countries is those on which the US has potentially questionable foreign exchange policies. Other than India other countries, namely - China, Germany, Japan, South Korea and Switzerland. Along with India, Switzerland was also US has removed from the currency monitoring list. This move can help in trade negotiations between the two countries including the US trade preference programme with India.
