Arvind Fashions has just raised a sum of Rs.439 crore from investors, which includes promoters via the issue of equity shares at Rs.218.50 per share. Arvind Fashions, the largest manufacturer of denims in India, will use these funds to strengthen its balance sheet. Some of the investors in this round include Akash Bhansali, ICICI Prudential MF, University of Notre Dame, GP Emerging Markets Fund and Ram Fund.
