Among the gainers were ITC and Interglobe Aviation. ITC rallied 7% intraday after the company resumed cigarette production and distribution, after a gap of nearly 2 months. Interglobe also climbed after the government announced that domestic airline operations would resume on May 25. This will ensure that the fixed costs do not put pressure on the airline companies on account of low occupancy factor.
