Lok Sabha election 2019 phase 6, held in 59 parliamentary constituencies was in 7 states of the country on Sunday, May 12. Over 979 candidates stood to contest for the election.
An increase in total registration of voters has been recorded this year.

Approximately 900 million, that is more than 84 million voters over the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
Total distribution of seats for the poll from different states was like, in Bihar (8), NCT of Delhi (7), Haryana (10), Jharkhand (4), Madhya Pradesh (8) and Uttar Pradesh (14).

Again, in phase 6 West Bengal ranked highest with 80% whereas not much voters turned up in Uttar Pradesh and recorded 53%. Neighbouring state, Bihar had total voter registered nearly till 59% and Haryana with 64%. Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh made a moderate record of voters with 65% to 60% respectively. Delhi got a similar voters ratio, 59%.

Elections in 59 constituencies across 8 states will be next held on May 19, 2019. The final vote count is scheduled on May 23, 2019.
