This a scheme launched by Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy. Under this scheme, farmers will get financial assistance of Rs.13500 per annum to be received in three installments. There is a contribution by the State government of Rs. 7500 and the Centre Rs 6000. This scheme was under one of the nine manifestos made by the ruling YSR Congress Party.

There has been a change in the amount of contribution as the original scheme proposed was supposed to have Rs.12,500 as State contribution. There was criticism all over the state that the ruling party was diluting the promise by including the central assistance of Rs. 6000 per annum. Due to this, the total contribution under the revised scheme would have been Rs.18,500 (Rs 12500 from state and Rs.6000 from central). But later on, central assistance was increased by Rs.1000 and hence proposed amount under the scheme stands at Rs. 13,500. This scheme is applicable to farmers in Andhra Pradesh and also extends to tenant farmers.
