Antony Waste Handling offers Solid Waste Management services to municipalities in India and has been functioning since 2001. It has already executed 25 large projects for the various municipalities in India. It is one of the leading waste management service companies in India and this is just about catching on as a business model in India now. The company has been a consistently profit making company with net margins of over 16%, which is extremely attractive.

The IPO will be open from March 04 to March 06. The total issue size will be Rs.206 crore of which Rs.171 crore will be by way of offer for sale (OFS) and the balance Rs.35 crore via fresh issue. The price range for the IPO is Rs.295-300 and the market lot for retail applications will be 50 shares. Retail investors can apply for a maximum of 650 shares. The shares will be listed on the bourses on March 17. While the company is profitable and P/E is just about 10, the market cap is just Rs.800. You need to be wary of the small company effect, although the issue quality is good.

It is a good opportunity for new investors as waste management can be a bright prospect for future. Can be a good buy and good short term gains. Not much to lose on a smallish IPO.
