The tussle is more about the personal wealth of the Hinduja brothers. IndusInd Bank and Ashok Leyland are both listed entities where Hindujas are stakeholders. The impact is unlikely on these stocks.

Hinduja brothers are currently locked up in a dispute over the family's fortune. The dispute has arisen over the division of family assets and is currently in the UK court. The Hinduja business spreads across London, Mumbai and Switzerland and spans automotive, hospitality, banking and healthcare.

In 2014, the brothers had executed an agreement where the family assets would be split equally between the brothers and each would be an executor for the other. Hinduja family also owns prime property that includes the Raffles Hotel in London, Carlton House Terrace, and a sprawling mansion located close to the Buckingham Palace.
