The government is looking to raise up to Rs 8,000 crore, with a green-shoe option to additionally retain either Rs 4,000 crore or Rs 6,000 crore from the fund offer.

This CPSE ETF is a part of prime minister Narendra Modi’s divestment drive which has already garnered Rs 11,500 crore in the earlier three tranches of the ETF.

To make the deal attractive, the government is giving investors a discount of 3.5-4% on the issue price.
