Here are some of the key triggers for the stock market in the coming week.

· The Nifty closed the week below 15,000 and Sensex below 51,000 for the third week raising questions on sustainability. FPI sold Rs.5,156 crore of equities in first week of March raising passive flow concerns. It is a truncated week with holiday on 11 March.

· Watch out for the US Fed commentary on rates and taper. Though rates would be constant and bond buying sustained, the language will be of importance. Markets also await US action on bond yields in the US benchmark and RBI TLTRO measures.

· Two big IPOs, Easymytrip and Anupam Rasayan, open on 08 Mar and 12 Mar respectively. This market has been hot in recent times. MTAR listing is expected on 15 March but the GMP will be closely tracked for its hints after the 200X subscription.

· There has been a sharp spurt in Coronavirus cases in Maharashtra and markets are not ruling out another set of curbs. Interestingly, WFH models and staying indoors has hit demand in segments like respiratory drugs and anti-infective drugs in Feb-21.

· Feb-21 CPI inflation will be announced on 12 March and OPEC monthly report on 11 March. CPI inflation is expected to inch up after it fell to a yearly low of 4.06% in Jan-21. Oil and core inflation could play a key role in trajectory of CPI inflation going ahead.

· IIP for Jan-21 and cumulative IIP to be announced in on Friday, 12 March. Street consensus estimates peg IIP for Jan-21 slightly in the negative after 1% growth in Dec-20. After 6.6% loan growth and 11.8% in deposits, markets await improvement in C/D ratio.

· Key global data points from the US, Europe and Asia will be of interest in this week. The big focus will be on US core PPI, US bond auctions, jobless claims, EU Inflation, Japanese household spending etc. Fed statement will be the most important of all.
