With the successful completion of phase 1 Lok Sabha election 2019, it on the other hand sadly concluded with the report of 50 complaints to the Election Commission.
The complaints were about the glitches in Electronic Voting Machines and hooliganism by the party workers at booths across seven Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra.
It was sad to learn that some malfunctioning of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and clashes among management led to the delay in about 400 polling stations in different parts of the state.

This was the election of 543 seats with elections in 91 constituencies across 20 states. The first phase of polling cumulatively had a record of around 13.97 crore electors.

Yesterday, Lok Sabha Elections 2019 on Phase 1 started off with states like Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Andaman, and Lakshadweep.
From the above states, I managed to collect a few data of specific states where a good response has been achieved through voters of the respective states (figures may vary);
7 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra had 46.13% votes
7 Lok Sabha seats in Naxal-affected Bastar constituency in Chhattisgarh had 45% votes and Assam had 67.75 %.
As per today's morning report, eight seats in western Uttar Pradesh has likely to get a bit tough contest by BJP and low votes of the Congress.
Bengal with 18 candidates and 2 constituencies had two dominant parties of BJP, Congress, TMC and Left (CPM, RSP, AIFB). Ranking highest West Bengal observes up to 81% of voters casting votes.
However, above among all the states, Andhra Pradesh marked history in India election season. With nearly 80% of the total voter, the polling concluded around midnight. Voters made their active contribution in casting their vote till 6 pm.

The final count of votes is scheduled on 23rd May 2019. The election in seven phases is from April 11 to May 19 covering 543 constituencies. The most awaiting decision of Indian politics that if the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi secure another term in the office or not.
