In the banking sector, management is all about managing the changing contours of banking and the emerging challenges in the sector. It may be a little hard to apply the traditional management models to banking, although some of the good old banking ideas like conservatism and focus on credit quality are still relevant. Modern bank management requires 3 unique skills.
The ability to invest in technology and adopt a business model that is flexible to meet the challenges of e-banking, robotic banking, etc.

An approach that entails aggressive growth that is driven by technology than by expanding manpower. Limited but high-quality manpower is the key.

Technology-driven risk management with tight controls so that growth does not compromise asset quality.
If you were to compress these 3 ideas, managing banks in the future will be all about managing technology.

Management can be defined as the process of administering and controlling the affairs of the organization, irrespective of its nature, type, structure, and size. It is an act of creating and maintaining such a business environment wherein the members of the organization can work together, and achieve business objectives efficiently and effectively. Therefore Management is a Traditional approach.
