That is the total market cap adding up the value of RIL normal listing and the RIL partly paid listing. However, the normal RIL market valuation has certainly crossed the Rs.14 trillion level as on 24 July and the rise has been virtually relentless. The partly paid shares have an approximate market valuation of Rs.54,262 crore.

On Friday, the stock of RIL also jumped up sharply on reports that Amazon was eyeing a stake in Reliance’s retail arm. While RIL and TCS were running close to each other last year, the gap has widened by nearly 70% now. Since January, the stock of Reliance Industries has gained 41.74% with the stock gaining 140% since the lows of March 24 this year.
