BLUE CHIP ARE BEST BUT CHOOSE SECTORS WISELY.

MEANS DON'T INVEST IN SINGLE SECTOR DIVERSIFY IT IN DIFFERENT SECTORS AS WELL AS MAINTAIN PROPER BALANCE STOCK IN YOUR PORTFOLIO.

DIVERSIFY IN:-
20% DEFENSIVE STOCK

30% HIGH QUALITY STOCK ( TOP 10)

20 % SMALL CAP / MID CAP WHICH EVERY HAVING GOOD VOLATILITY

REST 20% IF POSSIBLE KEEP AS IT IS FOR FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES .

It is better to diversify your portfolio to earn better returns on your investment and to minimize the risk. However, the question arises on how to diversify?

The first thing that you need to decide before making any investment is what are your future expectations and objectives that need to be fulfilled. What is the time span for your goals/objective?

The second thing that you need to decide is your capability of bearing any risk.
Now, what you need to find out is the best composition for your investment to meet your objectives.
For example: If you are willing to invest for a period of 30 years. Most of your investment should consist of large-cap funds, so as to keep you invested for a longer period. And the amount you’re willing to invest is 10,000 per month. So you can invest a minimum of 40% in large-cap funds, 20% in mid-cap funds, 20% in small-cap funds so as to meet your emergency requirements and balance 20% in blue-chip funds.

If you are not an expert in this field, you could take some expert advice by disclosing the necessary details to them. These experts charge a nominal fee for their services and build up a portfolio considering all your requirements and objectives.
