The problems in Yes Bank appear to be a lot larger than just NPAs as the sharp fall in price by nearly 85% is not justified by the NPA increase. Either, the bank still has a lot of toxic assets on its books, which is what looks likely or there are larger challenges that investors are wary about Yes Bank. Ideally, you should not look at averaging Yes Bank due to the huge pall of uncertainty surrounding the stock. Since you have a large stake already, you can look to hold on to the stock.

The stock is obviously not as bad as the prices are showing. You should get a bounce in the stock in the next year or so and patience will be required. But averaging is not a great idea because you are unnecessarily exposing yourself beyond a point to that stock.

Brother, yes bank is trading near 52 week low and bank assets and liabilites doesn't show any progress from the last quarter. Although other peers are performing after the RBI rate cuts and promoters of the yes bank have sold alomost 61% of the shares I suggest you to exit now. Before its too late
