How has the HDFC Bank loan book shaped up in the December quarter?

HDFC Bank reported 16.4% growth in its loan book in the De-21 quarter at Rs.12.6 trillion or Rs.12,60,000 crore. The retail loan book grew 13.5% on yoy basis and 4.5% on a sequential basis, although the wholesale loan growth was muted at 7.5% yoy. Deposits of HDFC Bank grew 13.8% at Rs.14.46 trillion of which 47% were the CASA deposits comprising of current and savings accounts.
