SBI Life posted 5.1% rise in net profits at Rs.390.89 crore for Jun-20 quarter. SBI Life also saw a 30% growth in renewal premium in Q1 despite new business premium on a decline. The value of new business or VNB decreased 29 percent to Rs 240 crore while the VNB margin improved by 80 bps to 18.7 in Jun-20 quarter. It’s a market leader in new premium.

SBI Life's AUM grew 19% to Rs.175,000 lakh crore. SBI Life has a debt-equity mix of 76/24 with more than 90% of debt investments ain AAA. As against the statutory requirement of solvency ratio at 1.50, SBI Life has a solvency ratio of 2.39.
