For the March 2020 quarter, Adani Power reported net loss of Rs.1313 crore as compared to a net profit of Rs.635 in the fourth quarter of last fiscal year. Total income for the quarter was also sharply down over 20% at Rs.6328 crore. For the full fiscal year, the company's consolidated net loss stood at Rs.2275 crore in 2019-20 compared to a net loss of Rs.984 crore in fiscal year 2018-19. The company has seen a lot of pressure with funding hard to come by and most states keen to renegotiate the PPAs more favourably. The stock is best avoided at this point of time.
