While the numbers are still picking up from a low base, there appears to be room for some optimism in the August numbers of Tata Motors. It reported a 13.38% increase in total sales at 36,472 units in August compared to just 32,166 units sold in August 2019.
The big boost came from domestic demand picking up on the back of 3 months of quiescence. Domestic sales were up 21.6% to 35,420 units in August month. The good news is that the passenger vehicles segment more than doubled sales in August to 18,583 units.
