Many international funds are underperforming along with the Indian market.
Understanding its mandate is a must before you invest in these schemes.
Due to the current war condition, the stocks with high growth are stepping down in valuation. Thus, understand the China-based funds properly before you invest.

If you are looking for long term investment, then choose to have a diversified portfolio. This will give your portfolio and mix of growth from different sectors.
Even if you see the market getting crashed badly, do not worry market uncertainties is temporary.
Remember, market fundamentals always remain the same. I would recommend you to look at least 5 years of long term investment. Avoid short term or investment with one year of the lock-in period. Get proper knowledge of the fund category you choose.
