Infosys has secured a marquee contract from Vanguard Inc, one of the world’s largest asset managers with over $4.5 trillion in AUM. The contract is worth $1.5 billion and that will make it the largest deal ever signed by Infosys. It is also estimated that the contract could be extended to 10 years, in which case it could be worth closer to $2 billion.

Reportedly, Infosys will assume charge of day-to-day operations supporting Vanguard's record-keeping business. Nearly 1,300 Vanguard roles supporting these record keeping and client administration functions will transition to Infosys. This is a key large contract for Infosys after it enhanced the size of its contract with Verizon also to $1 billion.
