Zeotap raised an additional $18.5 million as part of its Series-C funding round from Signal Fire, a reputed venture capital firm. Zeotap is a high end technology company with a customer intelligence platform or CIP enabling companies to better understand customers and predict behaviours to scientifically support branding exercises.

Zeotap had raised $42 million earlier this year under the same route taking the total Series-C round funding to $60.5 million, year to date. Zeotap will use the funds to invest in the customer data platform and to accelerate adoption of its platform across its 14 markets.

Zeotap has underlined that COVID-19 had catalysed a transformation in the marketing mix as brands invest in their data and learnings to redirect traditional TV budgets. The idea is to look for more effective channels. Many consider this the future trend of marketing.
