Most traders, especially beginners, lose money in intraday trading because of the high volatility of the stock markets. The problem with the volatile market is that your stop losses can get triggered quite fast. After the stop loss gets triggered your target may still be met. Then you will regret and try to rectify the situation by widening the stop loss. That is not the way to do it. Don’t keep stop losses in such a way that your capital is put at risk. That is not good intraday trading. If the markets are too volatile and you can manage with your shortstop losses, then it is better to wait for the market to become more predictable.
Generally, losses occur due to fear or greed because, while investment is not risky, the lack of knowledge is. This is a very important point. An intraday trader has to constantly invest in updating and upgrading themselves. Don’t rely on others for charts, read charts yourself. That is the only way to be a successful intraday trader.
