Considering the fact that the world is going through a healthcare crisis, the growth prospects of Indian pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors have improved significantly. The sector has witnessed a pickup in approvals from the US drug regulator and pricing pressure in key drug markets has eased meaningfully.

It seems that pharmaceutical and healthcare space may continue to generate returns for the next 2-3 years as aftereffects of the Covid-19 pandemic may remain for some time. Therefore, one can continue to stay invested in Nippon India Pharma Fund but the additional investment can be avoided due to the recent run-up by the pharma sector.

It is very important to note that investors with very high-risk appetite and a very long term investment horizon only should take exposure in the sector or thematic mutual fund schemes like this one.
